Studying and working in Canada
If you are a full-time student with a valid study permit you can work up to 20 hours per week and up to 40 hours per week during academic breaks. Most NSCC programs require students to complete a work or co-op placement so make sure you apply for a work permit

If your skills and experience match our province’s needs, after graduation you’ll have a fast-tracked opportunity to immigrate with the Nova Scotia Nominee Program.
